Free Rider is an open-source API client with every official feature available for free. The official project does not place product functionality behind Pro, Premium, Team, or Enterprise tiers.
License
Free Rider is distributed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0 only (AGPL-3.0-only).
AGPL-3.0 permits use, modification, redistribution, and commercial use. When a modified version is distributed or offered to users over a network, the applicable AGPL source-availability requirements must be followed.
The repository license text is authoritative for the exact legal terms.
All Free policy
Separate from the license, the official Free Rider project and official releases keep all product features free for everyone.
- No paid-only product features
- No artificial feature locks or usage caps intended to force an upgrade
- Official desktop releases remain free of charge
- Source code stays public
- Donations, sponsorships, or paid support may fund the project, but they do not unlock exclusive product functionality
